We had the most amazing stay at puzzle beach house! What a treat it was. Suresh and Udesh were incredible, nothing was too much to ask, they were so helpful and we had the most delicious meals. (Udesh homemade cappuccino was the best coffee I have ever had!) Highly recommend the cooking class too!! We just wished we booked for longer. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Great place. The beach is like something out of a travel brochure and the kids surfed every day. Nicely located near Galle. I was unsure about having ‘live-in’ chefs, but it really worked – Suresh and Udesh achieving the perfect balance of ‘available’ but ‘non-obtrusive’. Suresh’s cooking is also excellent: we rarely left the house. My first trip to Sri Lanka and I’d definitely go there again.

Within a 100 meters there is a trendy upmarket hotel that offers wonderful food. There is also a number of beach bars and upscale restaurants to enjoy. There is also an abundance of beach side cafes and restaurants along the beach.
The best beach club – Angel Beach Club – in the country is just a 10 minute ride away. Our house manager can reserve you a day-bed and hook you up with VIP treatment.
Safe swimming areas can be found within a 5 – 10 minute walk.
Whilst all beaches in Sri Lanka are public, we are fortunate that our beach is very quite and most days very few if any bathers are present. Providing you with the ultimate experience.
Our staff will pull up our bespoke sun-beds and the Adirondack deckchairs, so you can sunbathe on our sun-kissed beach.
Habaraduwa was previously a fisherman’s haven. There is a plethora of seafood right on our doorstep. Many locals still venture down early in the morning or just before sunset to fish. Quite a site to watch them real in their bounty.
Lake Koggala is just 5 minutes away. You can enjoy boating or sunset cruises around the vast lake. One of the biggest in the country. There’s an abundance of nature to view and fantastic vistas.
A public Golfcourse is less than 5-minutes away. Play on a course where you might even be lucky to view a crocodile sunbathing on the ajacent lake.
Puzzle Beach House is located in the ‘Golden Mile’ of Sri Lanka’s southern coast. Extremely private and boasting one of the countries most beautiful beaches.

Getting around
You can either use a hired-driver and car or the local Sri LankanTuk Tuks to get around. Tuk Tuks are territorial and every area has them. We have Tuk Tuks within 20 seconds of the property. You can hail these Tuk Tuks with ease.
Please note that these are outside services and nothing to do with Puzzle Beach House.

Top tip: It’s always a good idea to negotiate prices prior to riding. Don’t get in until you have! And have the correct payment ready in advance.
A hired driver with a nice car or van will be more expensive when compared to a three-wheleled Tuk Tuk, but may save you alot of unnecessary headaches when traveling around.
